Terms of Use

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This website is operated by PREIC. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What this website is

PREIC Apartments advertises rental homes owned or managed by PREIC and lets you enquire about them or apply for one. It is our own website — we are the landlord, not a listings marketplace carrying other people’s properties.

Listings are information, not an offer

Rents, availability, suite features, amenities, and promotions shown here can change without notice and are not an offer to lease. Photographs and floor plans are representative: individual suites vary, and the suite you view may differ from the images shown. Nothing on this site creates a tenancy, reserves a suite, or obliges either of us to enter into a lease.

A tenancy begins only when a written lease is signed by both you and PREIC. That lease, and the residential tenancy legislation of the province the building is in, govern the tenancy — not this website.

Enquiries and applications

Sending an enquiry or submitting an application does not hold a suite for you and does not guarantee approval. We assess each application on its merits and may decline it, or the suite may be taken by someone else while yours is being reviewed. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and complete — an application containing false information may be refused or, if a lease has already been signed in reliance on it, may have consequences under that lease.

How we handle what you send us is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Equal treatment

We rent our homes without discrimination, in keeping with the human rights legislation of each province we operate in. If you believe you have been treated unfairly, tell us at rent@preicapartments.com and we will look into it.

Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone. If any part of it is difficult for you to use, let us know and we will help you directly and work on fixing it. See our Accessibility page.

Using this site properly

You may browse the site, enquire, and apply. You may not scrape or harvest listings or contact details, use automated tools to submit forms, attempt to gain access to the leasing panel or any part of the site that is not public, interfere with how the site runs, or use it to send anything unlawful, threatening, or deliberately false.

Our content

The text, photographs, floor plans, video tours, logos, and design of this site belong to PREIC or are used with permission. You may share a link to any page, and you may print or save pages for your own use while looking for a home. Anything else — republishing our photographs or listing copy, or using our name or logo — needs our written permission first.

Links and services we do not run

Some parts of this site rely on other companies: maps, embedded video tours, and the resident portals we link to for paying rent and submitting maintenance requests. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we cannot promise it is free of errors or omissions, or that it will be available without interruption. Information is provided as it stands, and we may change or remove any part of the site at any time. Errors and omissions excepted.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, PREIC is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them removes or reduces any right you have as a tenant or applicant under the residential tenancy or consumer protection legislation that applies to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the website itself belongs to the courts of Ontario. A dispute about a tenancy is dealt with where that tenancy is — under the residential tenancy legislation and tribunal of the building’s province.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; when we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
